Description
Each tablet contains 100 mg of viagra and 60 mg of dapoxetine.
Sildenafil belongs to a group of medications called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors. It is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (male impotence). It helps to achieve and keep an erection sufficient for sexual activity. It does this by allowing a greater blood flow into the penis when a man is sexually aroused. It works only with sexual stimulation and does not increase sexual desire.
The usual recommended dose is 50 mg taken as needed, approximately 30 to 60 minutes before sexual activity. However, the medication may be taken any time from 4 hours to half an hour before sexual activity. Based on the effectiveness and side effects of the medication, the dose may be increased to 100 mg or decreased to 25 mg.
The maximum recommended dose is 100 mg and it is not recommended to take more than one dose per day. Sildenafil may be taken with or without food, but taking it with a high-fat meal may increase the time before the medication starts working.
Dapoxetine, marketed as Priligy, among others, is a medication used for the treatment of premature ejaculation (PE) in men 18–64 years old. Dapoxetine works by inhibiting the serotonin transporter, increasing serotonin’s action at the postsynaptic cleft, and as a consequence promoting ejaculatory delay. As a member of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) family, dapoxetine was initially created as an antidepressant. However, unlike other SSRIs, dapoxetine is absorbed and eliminated rapidly in the body. Its fast-acting property makes it suitable for the treatment of PE, but not as an antidepressant.
The recommended starting dose is one 30 mg tablet, taken 1 to 3 hours before you anticipate having sex. Your doctor may later decide to increase your dose to one 60 mg tablet. Your doctor will only prescribe the higher dose for you if the 30 mg dose is insufficient, and providing you have not experienced any side-effects such as feeling faint.
